Jo Carr

Jo has 30+ years’ experience in the corporate world gained in export trading, financial services, IT, BPO, travel and insurance.  In 2015, Jo became a self-employed HR consultant and has since worked on projects in the UK, China, India, Singapore, Hong Kong and Germany.  With two decades of leadership experience, Jo is comfortable working at the most senior level but also loves getting back to the shop floor with actual delivery.

Committed to self-development, Jo is qualified in sales techniques, Six Sigma (Green Belt), health and safety and a variety of HR-related learning.  In 2020, Jo successfully became a STAR Coach Practitioner & Manager Coach and an Accredited Internal Coach.  She is currently completing ILM Level 7 Certificate for executive and senior level coaches and mentors.

Jo is passionate about travel and that, combined with much international and cross-cultural work, has given her a global outlook.  She is also an experienced mentor with post graduate learners at the Lord Ashcroft International Business School at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge and helps enable young international talent make great starts to their careers.
