Laura Shipp is a qualified practitioner and consultant – BA (Hons), PG Dip, MCIPD, ACIArb, ABIH and the founder of Courageous People Partners a personal and professional development company based in Somerset and London.
Laura often combines psychometrics, mediation, NLP, hypnotherapy and coaching to get the best for her clients. By understanding their concerns and challenges, she considers it her role to support and enable them to be the best version of themselves by using their skills, resources and own thinking. The flexibility of her services means she can design bespoke programmes tailored to her client’s specific needs.
She is great at building rapport and being able to dance in the moment, challenging clients often with humour to dig deeper and achieve clarity of purpose and goals. She is passionate about personal and professional development and has confidence in the courage and determination of the people she works with to find and apply their own solutions.
She comes from a learning, leadership, talent & organisational development background with 16 years’ experience in a number of complex organisations and sectors (financial services, technology, energy, and construction). She has a successful track record of implementing talent governance arrangements, designing assessment and development programmes, and delivering organisational change initiatives. She draws on this experience in her consultancy work with organisations.
She is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD); British Psychological Society (BPS) psychometric test user; member of the International Coach Federation (ICF); Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) accredited mediator; and certified NLP practitioner.
