Shirley is an experienced HR consultant and coach and is a Fellow of CIPD. Her HR experience was originally within a European manufacturing organisation but since self employment, she has also worked for smaller enterprises in different sectors, including technical/ engineering and charities.
She covers the whole lifecycle of HR, from recruitment to issues in the workplace, and termination. She is regarded as practical and a trusted advisor by businesses which are her regular clients.
Also qualified as an advanced personal coach she prefers to use a personality profile to help clarify the person’s preferences, and uses this to shape the discussions. Her specialism is with those who are facing challenges, or problems within the workplace and sometimes her HR expertise helps in these situations.
Shirley also has a passion for outplacement and has experienced some great results with those who have come to her disillusioned, without direction and needing to get back into the workplace. A programme which helps understand where they’re headed, and then preparation of CV, LinkedIn profile, and other services tailored to their needs is something that she offers to individuals and groups.
